Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and TwoTick when you use the website and app. We've tried to keep them short and readable.
Template — needs legal review before launch. This page describes how TwoTick actually works, in plain language, but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
Your account
TwoTick is for teachers and other education professionals aged 18 or over. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity in your account. One account per person.
Your content stays yours
You keep all rights to the material you upload and the resources you create. You give us permission to store and process that content only to run the service for you (including sending it to AI providers as described in our privacy policy). We do not use your content to train AI models.
Only upload material you have the right to use in your teaching. Do not upload student personal information beyond the pseudonymous labels the grading feature asks for.
AI output needs your review
TwoTick uses AI to draft materials, check answer keys and suggest grades. AI can make mistakes, and the checker can miss them. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you give it to students, and every grade is yours to decide.
Acceptable use
- No attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or to get around plan limits or rate limits.
- No reselling access or running automated bulk generation.
- No unlawful, harassing or harmful content.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why.
Plans, payment and cancellation
The Free plan is free. Pro is billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe, and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan & billing; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Prices may change, with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
Our fairness promise: We never paywall your results or delete your work, even if you downgrade.
Availability
We work hard to keep TwoTick running, but it is provided “as is” and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give you at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your work.
